Telegram messaging app has marked the @trump channel allegedly belonging to US incumbent President Donald Trump as a fake.
"Attention: many users claim this channel to be a fake. Please be careful, especially if it asks for money," it warned in the description of the channel which has more than 550,000 subscribers. The account was marked as a fake, TASS reports.
The account was not verified by Telegram’s administration. There were no comments about the channel’s authenticity from the White House.
Twitter earlier permanently suspended Trump’s account "due to the risk of further incitement of violence." In addition, Trump was banned from posting on his Facebook and Instagram accounts at least until the end of his presidential term.
