Ahmadinejad: Iran Not to Let the West Interfere

According to Western news agencies, President of Iran Mahmud Ahmadinejad said speaking at the meeting in Bushehr in the south-east of the country that Iran is approaching “the peak” in implementation of its nuclear programme and will not permit the West to interrupt its work, RusBalt reported.

"If you (the West) just imagine that the Iranian people will back down, you are mistaken”, Ahmadinejad said. “Ascending by the nuclear path, we are moving to the peak ".

"At the same time next year the nuclear energy will flow into the power system of Iran”, Ahmadinejad stated.

The statement of the Iranian leader to a great extent is a response to the statement of Under Secretary of State Nickolas Burns made on January 24 when he was with his visit to Israel that the American Government should provide for security of Israel, and that the USA will continue its efforts to suspend the Iranian nuclear programme.

Note that two days ago Iran received from Russia the last 8-th shipment of the nuclear fuel for the Bushehr reactor.
