Yatsenyuk Resigns

Speaker of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada Arseny Yatsenyuk claimed at a plenary session of the Ukrainian Parliament that he is submitting his declaration of resign to the Rules Committee.

"I came to this post exclusively under the democratic colors. It is necessary to come to power as a dignified person and resign as a dignified person too. Therefore I declare that I resign”, Yatsenyuk explained his decision. Meanwhile according to the Rules he will lead the Parliament until the Committee makes a decision.

Let us recall that Speaker of the Supreme Rada Arseny Yatsenyuk declared at the plenary session on September 16 that the “orange” parliament coalition consisting of factions BJT and Our Ukraine collapsed.

In turn, BJT leader Julia Timoshenko repeatedly claimed that she is not going to resign in this connection.
