Burdjanadze: In August 2008, Georgia Bombed Itself the City of Gori

According to the leader of the "Democratic Movement - United Georgia" movement, Ex Speaker of the Parliament Nino Burdjanadze, during the August conflict with Russia in 2008, the Georgian armed forces themselves bombarded the Georgian city of Gori. Burjanadze refused to comment on her statement.

As is known, the bombing of Gori began on August 12, after the Georgian troops which were to ensure the defense of Tbilisi, had been withdrawn from the city. According to the Georgian side, Iskander missile was launched against the city from the territory of Dagestan. The Russian side rejects these accusations.

Recall that during the bombardment in Gori foreign journalists were injured and killed.
