The Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said that Ukraine is interested in economic integration with the Customs Union, and Kiev continues to look for a model of cooperation with this association. He also admitted the possibility of cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union as an observer.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Ukraine's participation in the Customs Union in the format of "3 +1" is not possible. However, he admits that Ukraine may cooperate with the Customs Union as an observer.
