The Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has condemned the ethnic Chechens, taking part in the fighting in Syria.
"Young people, finding themselves abroad, often allow to be involved themselves in another's games and conflicts," he said. "In Syria, several Chechens living in Europe were killed. They continue to be killed in Syria. For what, for the sake of what? They have taken the path of Shaitan and will find there what they were looking for," said the head of the republic.
According to him, earlier he could not understand "why the Western countries do not want the refugees to return home." "I suppose that they need young, healthy people to use them in various conflicts," Kadyrov suggested.
Earlier, Ramzan Kadyrov denied any assertions of Chechens involvement in the Syrian civil war.
