Yukos Launches a New Facility

"Lisky-2", the biggest oil product terminal in southern Russia, was commissioned in the Voronezh Region on January 21. Gasoline and diesel fuel will be pumped here through a pipe-line from the Samara Region, to be lated on delivered to consumers by rail or tank-cars.

The planned capacity of the terminal constructed by Yukos is 1.5 million tons of oil products per year, said Nikolay Ledenev, head of the Power Resources Directorate in the regional administration. The construction cost came up to 200 million Rubles.

The launching of the new terminal would allow for eliminating any possible shortages in oil product supply to several regions in Central Russia. Besides, direct delivery would ensure high quality of fuel.
