The remaining members of militants were crushed at night in the ancient quarters of Aleppo and pulled out to the southern areas of the city through a special corridor.
According to the report militants moved through a 700-meter corridor between a citadel and the Safsafah area. The Syrian army’s command agreed on their withdrawal from the historic part of the city to protect it from destruction and save the lives of civilians there.
The clashes between SAA and the militias continue in the ancient quarters at a distance of 500 meters from a medieval citadel. The Syrian army repelled the attack of more than 100 militants and surrendered them.
