Poland Set to Leave Iraq

According to Polish Minister of Defense, Poland would withdraw its contingent from Iraq by the end of this year.

This decision was made because the term of the UN Resolution on Iraq had already expired. The minister said that if the UN Security Council would approve a new resolution, then a small contingent of Polish troops might return to Iraq.
