The State Duma (lower house) passed the bill on setting a ten-year application term for preferential conditions on taxes and insurance contributions for residents of advanced social and economic development zones and the Vladivostok free port initiated by the government in the final third reading on Thursday.
The bill’s target is to ensure stable conditions of doing business for residents of those areas and the Vladivostok free port. "Non-application to residents of the provisions of law affecting their position as tax and insurance contributions payers within a ten-year period from the date of their receiving a respective status is envisioned," according to an explanatory note to the bill.
