Russian Schoolboy Wins World Championship in Mathematics

Andrew Gavriliuk, a student of School No. 5 in the town of Dolgoprudny of the Moscow Region specializing in physics and mathematics, won the all-round world championship at an international mathematics Olympiad, having scored the highest points.

All in all, the Russian combined team has brought two gold and two silver medals from the Mexican city of Merida.

Now the leaders of the Russian team are working to create an Internet site aimed at supporting international and all-Russian Olympiads.
