The plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will bring together five heads of state and government, TASS reports.
"The plenary session titled ‘The Far East: Expanding the Boundaries of Opportunities’ will be the key event of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on September 11-13," the Roscongress foundation, the forum’s organizer, reported. "Taking part in the event will be Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon."
According to the forum’s program, the plenary session will be held on September 12.
"The participants in the plenary session will discuss key issues of international cooperation between Russia and Asia-Pacific countries," the foundation added.
Sergei Brilev, TV presenter, Deputy Director of the Rossiya TV channel and President of the Bering-Bellingshausen Institute for the Americas, will be the discussion moderator.
Russia's TASS news agency is the event's general information partner, an official photo host agency and moderator of the investment projects' presentation zone.
