Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev believes that the Russiasn Far East has become a platform where new forms of effective development of the territories are being tested, he told reporters on Thursday, TASS reported.
"The Far East in a certain sense now performs the function of economic intelligence for the most effective ways of managing development. I can firmly promise that we will not stop for a single day, we will constantly analyze practices of our neighbors, think for ourselves and offer new forms that can create good conditions for business," he said.
Trutnev added that in two years 138 enterprises were established in the Far East. "I am confident that next year we will have higher growth of new enterprises, and then even higher, and thanks to this progression we will raise gross product," he said.
The fourth Eastern Economic Forum is held on September 11-13 in Vladivostok.
