"Our military neutrality is crucial. There can be no place for NATO in Moldova, this is a principled position shared by at least two-thirds of the Moldovan people," he said.
"We cannot afford to let our friendship with someone be aimed against someone else. Everyone must understand it. No matter if I speak in CIS countries or in Brussels, I say that we will be friends with both the West and Russia, our friendship with Europe and America will not be aimed against Russia. We don’t need it to be that way," the Moldovan president stressed.
