US President Joe Biden signed ten executive decrees on Thursday involving various measures to fight the pandemic. The signing was aired on the White House website.
Among the documents signed is an executive action to use the Defense Production Act to direct all federal agencies and private industries to produce everything needed to fight the pandemic, including rapid production and distribution of vaccines, TASS reports.
At the end of December 2020, Biden stated that the Trump administration distributes the vaccine against the novel coronavirus in the country much slower than planned earlier. He emphasized that it will take years to inoculate US residents if the plan continues to be implemented at the same rate.
