The official representative of State Department of the USA Victoria Nuland declared that the UN Security Council can toughen existing sanctions concerning North Korea if Pyongyang carries out planned rocket launch.
"As all know, in April the statement of the chairman of the board of safety of the UN in which the last start of the rocket carried out by North Korea with the satellite was resolutely condemned was accepted. The UNSC also declared determination to take measures if starts proceed and we adhere to such position", - stated Nuland.
The representative of State Department also reminded that start of North Korea rockets with use of ballistic technologies will be direct violation of resolutions of UN Security Council.
Let's remind that North Korea already declared intention to prolong a temporary window of start of the rocket with the scientific satellite from the Sokhe spaceport till December 29.
