The state minister of Georgia concerning reintegration Paata Zakareishvili excludes returning of the country to a structure of the CIS and calls this subject as "turned page". He declared it on Tuesday, December 11 on air of Maestro TV company.
Earlier the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk declared that he will make every effort for return of Georgia to the CIS and is ready to kneel for the sake of it before leaders of Georgia.
"When we were in the CIS, Russia occupied our territories and recognized as independent states Abkhazia and South Ossetia. On it, there are no arguments for return to the CIS because it’s excluded", - emphasized Paata Zakareishvili. According to him, "Georgia already turned that page on which CIS was written".
Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Maya Pandzhikidze also declared earlier that Georgia will never return back into the CIS and questions about it aren't considered, Georgia Online reports.
