Russia opposes "war of lists" concerning US

The deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Ryabkov at meeting of the Russian Parliament’s upper house International Affairs Committee declared that Russia against "war of lists" in the relations with US. Thus the Russian side emphasized that single method of international relations is dialogue.

A war of lists, a high-stakes game is a wrong way,” Mr. Ryabkov said. Nevertheless, according to Sergey Rybkov, Russian bill is much wider. "In this bill the norm which allows to apply appropriate measures concerning American citizens who are involved not only in violations of Russians rights, but also in human right crimes. It allows to apply it concerning those who authorized tortures, created special prisons, irredeemably held prisoners in Guantanamo. That is the bill is wider", Russian diplomat noted.

Let's remind that earlier in December in US "Magnitsky's law" which enters visa sanctions concerning Russians involved, according to congressmen, to human rights violations, in particular to death of consultant of Hermitage Capital Management investment fund Sergey Magnitsky in pre-trial detention center in 2009.
