Another opposition rally in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica is over. The demonstrators have again put forward demands to Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and the government of the country to stop all the activities connected with the integration of Montenegro into NATO.
Leaders of the opposition stressed that this rally is not the last, and the Montenegrin people will continue their struggle against "NATO occupation."
According to the protesters, the issue of Montenegro joining the Alliance can be resolved only through nationwide referendum.
Director of the Balkan Centre for International Cooperation Viktor Kolbanovskii believes that the people's support of Montenegro's military neutrality is "a very important step on the way to the referendum."
A great number of Serbian and Russian flags was seen at the event, the protesters chanted "NATO is a killer!", "Djukanovic must resign!".
