The purpose Montenegro's PM Milo Djukanovic is to weaken the power of popular protest, first by force, and then by simulating negotiations with the opposition, said a representative of Montenegrin opposition coalition "Democratic Front" Vladislav Bojovic.
"Our protests escalated into a serious movement against the oligarchs close to the ruling regime," - said Bojovic.
On Monday, December 21, Djukanovic will meet with the representatives of the opposition forces. According to Bojovic, it will provide an opportunity for the parliamentary opposition to solve the issue of forming a transitional government. "We give them all our support. But if they fail, we expect a clear response," - said the MP.
Bojovic is also confident that free elections in Montenegro will take place, and the ruling party "will answer for their criminal silence about corruption and crimes of the regime."
