A representative of the "Democratic Front" opposition party, Iva Baykovic gave new updates to the "Inforos" News Agency about a protest rally, scheduled to take place in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica on December 23.
According to Iva, the rally will start at 18:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time). The bulk of the protesters will be presented by "Democratic Front" and ordinary people who support resignation of the acting Prime-minister and idea of early elections.
"Protesters will gather in front of the Parliament of Montenegro, and then march through the streets of the city, toward the building of the National Television, where we're planning to give speeches on stage," - stressed Iva.
She also told "InfoRos" that riot police forces and other municipal services have started gathering in Podgorica since early morning. "We have never seen so many of them. This is a disturbing fact for the opposition," - said the representative of the "Democratic Front" emphasizing that the participants of the rally are not planning to somehow provoke the Montenegrin police forces.
For over two months Montenegro has been suffering a series of mass protests. Citizens demand resignation of the country's prime-minister M.Djukanovic and his administration and the forming of a transitional government which should conduct fair and transparent elections.
