Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian air-launched ammunition depot and an S-300 surface-to-air missile system over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
"An air-launched ammunition depot of the Ukrainian Air Force and an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed," TASS quoted the ministry as saying.
Russian forces eliminate 50 Ukrainian troops in Kupyansk area over past day
Russian forces repulsed a Ukrainian army attack in the Kupyansk area, eliminating roughly 50 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the western battlegroup conducted active operations with the support of army aircraft and artillery fire and repulsed an attack by an assault group of the Ukrainian army’s 14th mechanized brigade near the settlement of Sinkovka in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.
In addition, Russian forces inflicted damage on manpower and military hardware of the Ukrainian army’s 25th airborne, 57th motorized infantry, 30th and 32nd mechanized brigades in areas near the settlements of Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Sinkovka and Timkovka in the Kharkov Region, the ministry said.
The enemy’s losses in the Kupyansk direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 50 Ukrainian personnel and three pickup trucks, the ministry reported.

"In the Krasny Liman direction, an attack by an assault group of the Ukrainian army’s 67th mechanized brigade was repulsed by well-coordinated operations of units from the battlegroup Center in interaction with operational/tactical and army aircraft and artillery near the settlement of Chervonaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic. In the area of the Serebryansky forestry, damage by firepower was inflicted on the personnel of the Ukrainian army’s 12th special operations brigade. The enemy’s losses over the past day amounted to 65 personnel and two pickup trucks," the ministry said.

Russian forces repulsed a Ukrainian army attack in the Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, units of the southern battlegroup supported by aircraft and artillery repulsed an attack by an assault group of the 24th mechanized brigade near the settlement of Leninskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian army’s losses in that direction amounted to 115 personnel killed and wounded, two armored personnel carriers, two motor vehicles and a Msta-B howitzer," the ministry said.
Russian forces also inflicted damage on manpower and military hardware of the Ukrainian army’s 22nd and 24th mechanized, 5th assault and 107th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Razdolovka, Kleshcheyevka, Artyomovskoye, Bogdanovka and Kurdyumovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the ministry added.

Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian army attack in the south Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the south Donetsk direction, units of the battlegroup East capitalizing on air strikes and artillery fire repelled an attack by an assault group of the 127th territorial defense brigade near the settlement of Priyutnoye in the Zaporozhye Region. In addition, they inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 72nd mechanized brigade near the settlement of Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the south Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 60 personnel, two armored combat vehicles and two motor vehicles, the ministry specified.

Russian forces repelled three Ukrainian army attacks in the Zaporozhye area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian battlegroup supported by artillery fire repelled three attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd mechanized brigade and 71st jaeger brigade north of the settlement of Novoprokopovka and west of Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.
Near the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region, Russian forces inflicted damage on manpower of the Ukrainian army’s 65th mechanized brigade, it said.
"As many as 60 [Ukrainian army] personnel, two armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks were destroyed," the ministry reported.
Kiev loses 70 troops in Kherson area over past day
Russian forces struck Ukrainian army units in the Kherson area, killing and wounding roughly 70 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.
"The enemy’s losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 70 personnel killed and wounded and five motor vehicles as a result of damage inflicted by combined firepower," the ministry said.
In the Kherson direction, units of the Russian battlegroup, air strikes and artillery fire inflicted damage on amassed personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 36th marine infantry brigade in areas near the settlements of Ivanovka and Zmiyevka in the Kherson Region, the ministry reported.
Russian air defenses down Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, 45 UAVs over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet and 45 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 plane near the settlement of Vozdvizhenka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. In addition, they destroyed 45 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Verkhnekamenka and Melovatka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Pshenichnoye and Mirnoye in the Zaporozhye Region, Olshana and Dvurechnoye in the Kharkov Region, Sagy and Zmiyevka in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.
During the last 24-hour period, operational/tactical and army aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groupings of forces inflicted damage on the Ukrainian army’s manpower and military hardware in 127 areas, it said.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 537 Ukrainian warplanes, 254 helicopters, 9,095 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 surface-to-air missile systems, 13,539 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,185 multiple rocket launchers, 7,145 field artillery guns and mortars and 15,507 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported.
