Units of the battlegroup West repelled eight attacks by Ukrainian assault groups near some settlements in the Kharkov Region and Lake Liman over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily bulletin of the special military operation, TASS reported.
Here are the details of this and other combat actions that happened over the past day, according to the bulletin.
Kupyansk area
"Coordinated efforts of units from the battlegroup West, artillery fire and heavy flame-throwing systems repelled eight attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian 14th, 43rd, 60th and 115th mechanized brigades in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Ivanovka and Yagodnoye in the Kharkov Region and Lake Liman," the ministry said.
It also said that fire damage was inflicted on clusters of troops and equipment of the enemy’s 115th mechanized brigade and 57th motorized infantry brigade to the northwest of Lake Liman and on the northern outskirts of the settlement of Sinkovka in Kharkov Region.
"Ukrainian losses were up to 55 servicemen, a tank, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier and two armored fighting vehicles," the ministry said.
Krasny Liman area
The battlegroup Center has repelled a Ukrainian attack in the Krasny Liman area, destroying up to 100 enemy servicemen and a tank.
"In the Krasny Liman area, the battlegroup Center repelled an attack of an assault group of the Ukrainian 63rd mechanized brigade near Chervonaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic. The artillery also defeated the enemy’s forces in the area of the Serebryansky Forestry. Ukrainian forces lost up to 100 servicemen, one tank and two vehicles," the ministry said.
Donetsk area
Russian forces repelled four Ukrainian army attacks in the Donetsk area.
"In the Donetsk direction, units of the southern battlegroup supported by artillery repelled four attacks by the Ukrainian army’s 24th mechanized brigade and the Ukrainian National Guard’s 5th brigade near the settlements of Kleshcheyevka and Sumy in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
Russian forces struck Ukrainian manpower and equipment near Kirovo, Kleshcheyevka, Krasnoye, Kurdyumovka and Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Ukrainian military lost as many as 250 personnel as killed and wounded, two tanks, one US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, three armored combat vehicles, two Msta-B howitzers, one Akatsiya motorized artillery system, one D-20 howitzer and one D-30 howitzer.
South Donetsk area
Russian forces inflicted firepower damage on three Ukrainian brigades and equipment in the south Donetsk area, with the enemy losing roughly 130 troops.
"In the south Donetsk area, units of Battlegroup East, supported by artillery and heavy flamethrowers, struck manpower and equipment of Ukraine’s 79th Air Assault, 58th Motor Rifle and 128th Territorial Defense brigades near Novomikhailovka, Novodonetskoye and Staromayorskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The enemy lost roughly 130 men as killed and wounded, as well as two pickup trucks, two Akatsiya self-propelled artillery systems and a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer.
Zaporozhye area
Russian forces have struck Ukrainian troops in the area of the settlements of Pyatikhatky, Rabotino and Nesteryanka in the Zaporozhye Region.
"In the Zaporozhye area, units of a Russian battlegroup, supported by artillery, repelled an attack by assault groups of the Ukrainian 117th mechanized brigade to the north of the Novoprokopovka settlement of the Zaporozhye Region, and also inflicted fire damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian 128th mountain assault brigade and 33rd and 65th mechanized brigades in the areas of the settlements of Pyatikhatky, Rabotino and Nesteryanka in the Zaporozhye Region. Over the past day, the enemy losses reached up to 50 servicemen and 3 motor vehicles," the ministry said.
Kherson area
The Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 30 servicemen, three howitzers and a drone control center in the Kherson area.
"In the Kherson area, the enemy’s losses amounted to up to 30 servicemen," the ministry said.
It adding that the Russian forces also destroyed three Gvozdika howitzers and a Ukrainian drone control center.
Air Force and air defenses
Russia’s Armed Forces have delivered strikes on four Ukrainian depots and eliminated some drone assembly and repair workshops.
"The workshops assembling and repairing unmanned aerial vehicles were wiped out, three munitions depots and a fuel depot, as well as a Ukrainian 79K6 Pelikan target acquisition radar were obliterated," the ministry said.
Russian air defense forces intercepted two rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and destroyed six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
"Over the past 24 hours, air defense capabilities intercepted two rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system," the ministry said.
During the last 24-hour period, Russian air defense systems also destroyed six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Belogorovka, Krinichnaya and Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 550 Ukrainian warplanes, 257 helicopters, 9,661 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 surface-to-air missile systems, 14,026 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,188 multiple rocket launchers, 7,322 field artillery guns and mortars and 16,263 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported.
