April 4 marks the 75th anniversary of the day the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was established. Over the years, the bloc has grown from 12 founding members to 32 states engaged.
Under the 1949 Treaty, NATO's stated purpose is to ensure the collective security of its members in the Euro-Atlantic region. But from a defensive alliance, as stipulated by the document, it has long turned into an aggressive one. The initial purpose was to allegedly combat expansion of the Soviet Union westwards, as after defeating Nazi Germany our former anti-Hitler coalition allies came to deem it an indestructible power ready to conquer the world with its communist ideas.
But the Soviet Union is long gone, and we don’t have communist ideologies elevated to state policy. But the NATO bloc is still here, with Russia remaining its key enemy — not as USSR successor but a centuries-old civilization morally opposed to the western one. Let us emphasize: it is not about communism, but Russia as such, which, while staying true to its spiritual and historical traditions, has never fit into the utilitarian-mercantile West that embraced quite a number of “improvements” to the once united European Christianity.
Today the alliance, with the US-led Anglo-Saxons forming it core and engine, is seeking to extend its dominance over all of the planet. But the point is that NATO, as the everlasting sentinel of Western “values,” is now engaged in defending those of a tiny clique claiming utter global dominance in all the human life spheres. This refers to the so-called globalist “elite” (or “deep state” in respect to America), which unites money masters from Wall Street and owners of transnational corporations.
Today NATO is entirely targeted against Russia. The reason behind this is our country’s nature of a global stronghold of truly spiritual values, global champion of family and traditional marriage, denier of extravagant theories related to infinite sexual deviations that are being presented as the new normal by the Western countries, if not a role model.
Russia is the only and main obstacle to the globalist elite’s reign on Earth. And so, ahead of its 75th anniversary, NATO is elaborating on ways to defeat Russia on the battlefield. And Ukraine has been chosen as a destruction instrument against Moscow.
At the anniversary meeting in Brussels, the alliance's foreign ministers were to discuss NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg's proposal on transferring military aid to Kiev on a long-term basis, and creating a €100bn fund to cover Ukraine's military expenses over the next five years. They plan so far ahead, as if confident that the present-day Kiev regime would not cease to exist in the course of this half-a-decade.
Significantly, as NATO diplomats attending the anniversary meeting in Brussels said, the fund is designed to "guard against any cut in US support if Donald Trump returns to the White House." What does it mean? NATO cannot conceal the fact of having approached its anniversary amid enormous controversy in regard to its policies.
Numerous cracks in NATO’s “unity” have been particularly highlighted by French President Macron’s Napoleon complex, as he urges sending allied troops to Ukraine. Macron wants to lead the way in Europe even at the expense of its people’s well-being. But things are not that straightforward and shallow, because Napoleon’s tricorn hat is clearly too big for him. With his antics, Macron has been catalyzing the already ongoing decay process in NATO, which is an inevitable outcome of the alliance’s essence — entities based on misanthropy cannot survive for long.
Meanwhile, without delving into the moment’s philosophy, this is exactly what America’s Wall Street Journal confirms: Macron is openly drawing attention to what many European officials are secretly worried about. Long-standing transatlantic security ties may fall apart. But that’s not yet the issue.
We are watching the Americans play delicately and all but precariously. By talking about the “danger” of NATO collapse, they are paving the way for this very thing, and not to simply to do away with the bloc over the allegedly enormous European defense expenditures, but to strangle Russia by proxy of their European partners, while remaining on the sidelines and beyond.
The latter is only possible after the United States’ formal divorce with the alliance or abolition of its charter’s notorious Article 5 obliging all the member states to stand up for any ally subjected to “aggression.” Part of instructions before this kind of step is publications in the British and American press aimed to exaggerate the “issue” of a potential US withdrawal.
And, most importantly, there is an overhyped thesis about the need to revise Article 5 itself. Britain’s The Guardian recently wrote about this, saying that the clause obliging all the members to go to war if at least one of them comes under attack, needs to be reconsidered. And this is especially true now that the United States leans increasingly towards the Pacific region, and the sense of political unity in Europe is steadily fading, the outlet added.
This means that European countries may feel freer “to act independently” without dragging the United States and Great Britain into conflict with Russia, making them mere supervisors and sole beneficiaries of this project, so to say. And project manager is France’s Emmanuel Macron, the fosterling of the Rothschild bankers, who are part of that very globalist sect.
The American establishment sees Europe as Russia’s best “sparring partner”. It is by proxy of Europe that the United States and Anglo-Saxons under its command would attempt to destroy us. There is no way NATO with the US engaged fits into these plans. Therefore, time is running out for old-school NATO.
But plans to destroy Russia are just their plans. We, too, will not sit idly by and watch those monstrous projects come into being. Thousand-year-old Russia has its own plans for the future.
