Russian troops inflicted casualties on the Ukrainian army and military hardware in 131 areas over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groupings of forces destroyed a radar station and inflicted damage on the Ukrainian army’s manpower and military equipment in 131 areas," TASS quoted the ministry as saying.

"In the Kupyansk direction, Western Battlegroup units inflicted damage by firepower on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 57th motorized infantry, 14th and 21st mechanized brigades near the settlements of Sinkovka in the Kharkov Region and Terny in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The enemy’s losses amounted to 25 personnel, two motor vehicles, a 155mm M777 howitzer and a 105mm M119 artillery gun of US manufacture, a 152mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system and two 122mm Gvozdika motorized artillery systems," the ministry said.
Russian forces strike four Ukrainian army brigades in Donetsk area over past day
Russian forces gained better positions and inflicted casualties on four Ukrainian army brigades in the Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, Southern Battlegroup units took more advantageous positions and inflicted casualties on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 79th air assault, 46th, 53rd and 54th mechanized brigades near the settlements of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Konstantinovka, Selidovo and Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
In addition, Russian forces repulsed four counterattacks by formations of the Ukrainian army’s 5th and 92nd assault brigades near the settlement of Krasnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, it said.
"The Ukrainian army lost over 480 personnel, seven motor vehicles, a Polish-manufactured 155mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, a British 105mm L119 artillery gun, a 152mm Msta-B howitzer, a 122mm Gvozdika motorized artillery system, a 122mm D-30 howitzer and a 100mm Rapira anti-tank gun," the ministry specified.

Russian forces improved their tactical position and repulsed 11 Ukrainian army counterattacks in the Avdeyevka area where the enemy lost roughly 240 troops and 20 pieces of equipment over the past day, the ministry said.
"In the Avdeyevka direction, Battlegroup Center units improved their tactical position in active operations and repulsed 11 counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 25th airborne, 68th and 71st infantry, 59th motorized infantry, 24th, 47th and 115th mechanized brigades near the settlements of Pervomaiskoye, Novobakhmutovka, Umanskoye and Berdychi in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the Avdeyevka direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 240 personnel, a tank, three armored combat vehicles, 11 motor vehicles, two US-made 155mm M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery systems, an American 155mm M777 howitzer, a 152mm Msta-B howitzer and a 122mm D-30 howitzer, it specified.

Russian troops improved their frontline positions in the south Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the south Donetsk direction, Battlegroup East units improved their forward edge positions and inflicted damage by firepower on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 58th motorized infantry, 72nd mechanized and 128th territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Staromayorskoye and Urozhainoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the south Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 110 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, four motor vehicles, a UK-made 155mm FH70 howitzer, two Gvozdika motorized artillery systems, a Nota electronic warfare station and a US-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station, it specified.

Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) storage facility in the Kherson area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"The Ukrainian army’s losses amounted to 75 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, five pickup trucks and two 122mm Gvozdika motorized artillery systems. In addition, a UAV warehouse was destroyed," the ministry said.
In the Kherson direction, Russia’s Dnepr Battlegroup units inflicted casualties on manpower and military hardware of the Ukrainian army’s 65th mechanized brigade and 35th marine infantry brigade near the settlements of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region and Ivanovka in the Kherson Region, it specified.
Russian air defenses destroy 236 Ukrainian UAVs over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down 236 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down 236 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, a Neptune anti-ship missile and five rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system," the ministry said.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 583 Ukrainian warplanes, 270 helicopters, 19,917 unmanned aerial vehicles, 499 surface-to-air missile systems, 15,732 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,266 multiple rocket launchers, 8,753 field artillery guns and mortars and 20,791 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
